Our Beach Cottage, just 6 miles from the Inn, has beach gear and facilities in its day-guests’ section, just waiting for you. There you’ll find beach towels, and beach chairs. There’s free parking, a private bathroom with shower (complete with towels, soap, shampoo), beach chairs, an outdoor shower to get the sand off quickly, and cold drinks await you, and you can travel miles on the sandy beach. There’s a refrigerator for you to store your picnic, too. All this is just steps through the dunes onto one of the world’s most beautiful wide sandy beaches, with 14 miles of continuous beach, gentle waves and dunes of sea oats. Stop by the historic St. Augustine Lighthouse on your way back to the Inn, for a bird’s eye view of the blue Atlantic.

This package includes a“Picnic Basket for Two” for your day at the beach (and you get to keep the lovely basket as a keepsake of your visit with us!) plus our gift to you of Suntan Lotion and Aloe Vera, for your skin protection
